Changes to my Study programme

So far, all the subjects that I've had in my career have been very interesting to me and my training as a psychologist, or at least I think so. I like how the subjects connect with each other and have something in common. I feel like I'm climbing a ladder where at each step I learn something new.

However, there are these co-curricular activities that include sports and other courses. I find these extra activities very interesting because they are so variable, but the university forces us to take so many as a requirement. For me, this puts extra pressure on my studies.

In terms of workload and lenght of studies I think college is taking up all spheres of my life. There are so many pdf's to read each week and it's impossible to keep up and read them all for each classes. I know I'm in college and maybe this kind of things are frequent, but I also have a life, I'm not a student all the time. This also includes teaching methods, because I feel that sometimes reading a bunch of papers and then going to class doesn't work. New, more didactic methods need to be adapted.

Talking about the infrastructure reminds me of my first day, when I met the faculty of Social Sciences. The first impression I had (and I'm not gonna lie) was the place was very ugly, besides the classrooms there were small and we were often overcrowded. In the summer it was an ordeal. But then, I got to know the other classrooms and my impression of the campus improved, because they had a better infrastructure and were more spacious.

  4. I felt very represented with what you wrote about how much the university invades our lives, I think that part of the university challenge is to have spaces of relaxation and to develop ourselves in other areas at the same time that we deal with the academic load.
